we had Encounters Travel Great British Tour...visiting the stone henge and bath, to york, cambridge, edinburgh, scottish highlands and finally liverpool, england it was a great experience, tailor-made for us to accommodate our schedule which really surprised us. Avoid them! Disorganized and bad guide

Egypt was mind-blowing but this tour company was among the worst I have hired. (For context, I have lived in five countries, three developing, and traveled to over 40.) We did the Egyptian Family Adventure. First, the organization was terrible. Encounters Not Recommended

Whilst the trip itself to Sudan which was run and managed by a local company was great, unfortunately I cannot recommend Encounters. Their UK office were impossible to get hold of, visa information limited, they charged a single supplement (£500) despite there being another passenger who would have shared if the option had been offered, and most importantly forgot to send me a critical email update about arrangements in relation …
