Unethical company, not customer centric

I took their jordan on a shoe string tour.their pickup, drop, hotel arrangements were excellent. But their guide services was rotten. They first took us to Jerash and the place is vast and crowded. Their guide, Mr.Khalid, lost me. I am 64 years old, travelling solo and the company said i got lost on purpose. Ridiculous. I had to pay 20 JD to another english speaking guide to find my …

Encounters Travel Troubles: They were a "No-Show" for departure transfer from hotel to airport at 2:30 AM as promised. They did not answer their in country emergency 24/7 telephone provided (left a message). Provided wrong info on itinerary concerning obtaining a Jordanian visa at border control. We paid $30 each but it is free when you are with a tour group so do not pay but try desperately to find …

The booking process was so smooth with Encounters that I was very impressed. Unfortunately, the tour was less impressive. The itinerary was not well thought out but even worse, it was very out of date. The best example of this was when we were on the Halong Bay Cruise. The Cruise company (Aphrodite cruises, as listed on the Encounters website) gave us a copy of our itinerary when we arrived. …
