I do not like to write bad reviews but this tour I had to say something about it trip to Jordan bad start at the Amman airport, nobody was there to pick us up..after 1hour 15 minutes the driver arrived to take us to the wrong hotel witch had the worst reviews on trip advisor before we left we ask for an upgrade it was accepted ,but on arrival it …
We just finished our 8 days Jordan tour. Let me start with the positives: -Jordan is great -food amazing -some (not all) sites visited are unbelievable beautiful -wifi on the bus -driver very friendly -tge guide (Khalid) very knowledgeable (said that, i must say, he is not a group leader, just a guide who knows history) Negatives: - there was no meeting/breefing or introductions on the first day. The group …
I am used to travelling solo and having a set schedule to my liking. Being my first time in Africa and in a risky area, a group tour for full trip was my safest choice. Unfortunately, I was not overall happy with the organization. First off, we lost a day and never got to experience Cairo, we were shipped from place to place with no time schedule given (no matter …
The Morocco on a shoestring tour through Encounter Travel was our least favorite tour. The country is beautiful and we saw many incredible sights and learned a tremendous amount about the history of Morocco and the Berber people. HOWEVER, information about the tour, the flights, connections, hotels etc was not clearly communicated to us. We had to continually ask for etickets, and other information, the tours described were different than …
Our guide had to speak in three languages. Too much!! At most, two languages per tour. And each language should get equal reporting
Our tour was great, but Matthew was terrible. I found him rude, his humor off color and my daughter and I felt like we were being led by a bored teacher rather than an informational guide. As a instructor myself, I understand how hard it is to keep a group together and on time. He also handled a bathroom emergency on the bus very indiscreetly and embarrassed and humiliated my …
Very, very disappointing. The service during the sale was very good and I had high expectations, but the tour itself was ill thought out and the itinerary at least a year out of date and no one had bothered to check on it. I know it was out of date for two reasons: 1) it said we would taste cricket spring rolls at a cricket farm, but when we arrived …
you get what you paid for
Our trip was 12 day customized tour of "Moroccan Melodies". We paid extra in order to see Chefchaouen and Essouira. What we got was a 3 hour evening experience to explore Chefchaoen, and a day trip to Essouira with a tour guide (4 hours experience in the city), with a stop-by at an Argan Oil Co-op on the way, for an additional $500 cost per person. We would not recommend …
DO NOT pick this tour if a solo traveller who speaks only English. I was with 2 lovely French couples who spoke not much English and I no French and 5 of 6 nights I was in a separate hotel. I emailed Tour Radar 3 days ago to complain and have yet to receive an acknowledgement if my enail. Go with INTREPID instead.
This is a hard one to review this because, while overall, the trip was an amazing experience, there were a few things that really could have ruined it. Encounters Travel over charged us, especially once we saw what we paid for. They dropped the price 45% the moment they got our money and wouldn't even discuss with us the HUGE pricing disparity before we left. Turns out, we were the …
Except for Ibis Hotel, the other hotels were old and dirty. The food is the same everyday - no variation. In Oudaya hotel the pancakes were so hard and only sweet bread were available for breakfast. We were combined with a group of French tourists and often the guide focused only on French. This French group from TUI had another package which included lunch and the guide took us to …
