Nubian adventure

I traveled with a friend of mine and had an amazing time. The attention to detail of the encounters folks was unlike any other your I've ever been on. Waleed, our tour guide additional was so knowledgeable and hospitable. I felt safe and could spend all my energy just learning and taking in the sites and magic of Egypt. Just don't recommend going on June/July. It's really hot.

Truly a passport for adventure

This tour with Encounters was absolutely unforgettable! Our tour guide (the famous Waleed) went above and beyond thinking of our comfort and needs in the harsh weather conditions. His decision making allowed us maximum time at each location while staying out of the harsh Egyptian heat, turning what is normally the tourist ‘low season’ into a fantastic opportunity to see this historically rich country. I really hated leaving Egypt, but all good things must come to an end. We (my sister and I) visited the pyramids, valley of Kings, Nubian village, had a camel ride in the desert, sailed on the Nile in a falucca and so much more. It was really excellent. I highly recommend Encounters for Egypt. As a solo female traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe the whole time and so taken care of, from arrival at the airport to the end. Amazing overall trip! Extremely busy seeing so much in both countries. The Bedouin people are extremely welcoming and generous. Our guide Amin (in Jordan) was a great ambassador for Jordan.
