Egypt is Safe

We did the Nubian Adventure with Encounters Travel in February 2018 and am happy to say that Egypt is a very safe country to visit. Everywhere you turn there are police or other security and I didn’t ever feel like it was necessary. Most Egyptians are polite and mind their own business. As with most travel destinations there are shop owners peddling souvenirs. Westerners will probably find them aggressive. They …

What a trip! Travelled with my wife (29 and 30) and two others in a packed 9 day tour. The guides where top notch. Best part was climbing inside the Great Pyramid and also the Red Pyramid/bent Pyramid tour. Felt like an adventurer. We did both Abu Simbel and the balloon ride.
