In Jordan, three of us in our group, for eight days, one driver and one guide. Unbelievable. In Egypt, our guide Walid is very knowledgeable and he tells the history and stories of the people’s and places in a way all of us in the group, all 20 of us understood. Dollar for dollar, it is worth every penny.

Everest Base Camp - Well Organized, Great Guides!

We used Encounters Travel as the organizer for our Dec 2019 Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal. They handled everything from the flight booking to the airport shuttle to the guide/porter arrangements. Their planning was well organized which allowed us to focus solely on getting through the physical challenges of the trek. I wasn't sent all needed info before the tour. Meet and greet at airport was not at immigration as directed, no holding up sign and didn't assist with luggage. Driver Majid was attentive and entertaining in interactions. Guide was professional, affable & personable. Clear, informative, helpful suggestions. Cultural, social knowledge imparted at appropriate times (no overload). As Salt was the highlight (would enjoy full day here).
