Booking before the tour was good. I would have liked a more detailed itinerary that specified times (departure each day, tours, etc.) and activities. Everything was general and communication with the group/guide weren't always clear. Also we were here during Ramadan. Some info on that would have been helpful. The airport meet-and-greet was great. The meet and greet at the airport was great, a simple process. JJ was very knowledgeable and personable. His English was hard to follow at times but overall he was great. Travel consultant's knowledge and helpfulness was good before the tour. Provision of documents before travel was poor. Meet and greet at the airport was poor- no one there. Wadi Rum Camp showers were bad.Amman City tour and As Salt were highlights.

Great tour. Hotel disappointment

Our tour was great, our guide Waleed outstanding however we were promised things we did not get, in particular the hotels. The hotels we stayed at, which were nice, appeared to be well under the standard of those that had been promised to us on the itinerary.

This was a packed tour with lots to do in very little time; kudos to Encounters for making the most out of our time.
