Overall, I loved the trip. It was a fantastic time and I would recommend Egypt to anyone who is considering going. ITINERARY "Good"- The balance between Aswan/Cairo/Luxor was almost ideal. I felt like I saw everything I wanted to in those places and wasn't rushed. 2 days in Cairo was perfect for the Saqarra, Giza, and the Egyptian museum, with a little pool side time to relax. The days in …
The historical sites
We had a great time with Sami as our guide. He was funny, personable and wanted to make sure we always felt at ease. He definitely gave us a lot of history about Jordan and the sites we were seeing. Sometimes he talked too fast or was too far away to hear, but if we asked him to repeat, he would gladly tell us again (and add in a few …
If you want someone knowledgeable you can find it with this guide. What sets Waleed apart from everyone is his kindness, he takes great care of people. He can engage children as well as adults while he is doing his explanation of the sites. His passion for his country and his ability to make you see the beauty of Egypt is magnificent. But most important he makes you feel like …
Our trip to Greece was very well organized. The tour guide Matthew worked very hard, and we were picked up at the airport and sent back without a hitch. When we got to the hotel, a tour rep Effie came to greet us and explain every part of the tour as well as what to do in Athens on our free days. Hotels were as discribed and comfortable. The other …
The overall tour was amazing. We saw everything in Jordan. Our tour guide Sami was filled with knowledge and had a wonderful sense of humour. He made our trip! The only downfall was our hotel in Amman (AL WALEED),breakfast was inedible or just full of empty serving plates and dirty. Half of our group got sick. I will gladly tell everyone I know about how amazing Jordan is! I would …
The people involved were quite nice and helpful, especially Sami the guide, of course. The places we visited were interesting for most. Petra and Little Petra were my personal highlights. The Amman hotel we went to, while quite fine (except for the carpets), was not the original mentionned in the latest tour doc, and there was nothing around to do on foot. This screwed up some alone time plans, including …
I really enjoyed this trip! All the hotels were very nice. I got to go inside one of the pyramids, see the Sphinx, and some amazing temples that have survived moves to new homes. I experienced my first hot air balloon ride (amazing!), held a baby alligator, and got to sail on the Nile River. I would definitely do this tour again. Also, my tour guide, Mohamed Kareem, was awesome! …
the tour is organized well, all the customer service is excellent. Only thing I wish the tour should offer is the hotel upgrade option. The hotels during the trip are mediocre, I don't mind to pay extra for the upgrade. But the option is not offered. This could be a major concern to book future trip.
My time on the Imperial Cities tour in Morocco was great, due in particular to our guide Amin. He was professional, yet easygoing, engaging our multilingual group with his enthusiasm for his country, easily switching from history to sport and modern-day events. Our driver Abdullah was also exceptional in the sometimes chaotic traffic, and was always happy to teach some Arabic along the way.
Enjoyed the trip to Egypt, many things to see and do, almost too many at times, would be a good idea to make some of the excursions optional. The tour guide, Sheriff, was the best, very upbeat and kept things fun. The only negative was getting diaherra as did most of the people in our group, would have liked to go back in Feb. for the month but don't feel …
We had a group of fourteen ranging in ages from 24 to 89 from all over the world and it was amazing! Almost everyone had booked through different agencies and then been outsourced again so that was a little confusing. For example when booking the tour the afternoon at the dead sea was included but on arrival the paper work I received said I would have to pay extra. In …
