We booked our trip with Encounters which was piloted by Atlas tours in Morocco. We had an excellent trip, our guide was very knowledgeable and the sites were amazing. There is an extra to obtain better hotels offered by Atlas which we didn't know about and may have paid as some hotels in the far regions were barely passable... . Our tour guide Mr. Sami one of the best tour guides I have ever traveled with. He is smart, funny with full of terrible jokes and professional. My major complaint is when I booked this tour I was not informed that the overnight sitting train has not allowed foreign tourists to ride since 2011. You are 100% guaranteed to have to pay for the upgrade. Other than that I'd recommend people taking the flight to Aswan than the train due to the rooms being very tiny, the washrooms completely disgusting and if you like meals of just …
